The equipment could be inserted into four subsidiary cards,you can decide how many inserted cards according to your requirment. 1 Name: Ethernet transmission over PDH ---the optical port2 Function

1)the optical port is STM-4(622M).

2)The equipment can be inserted into four kinds of subsidiary cards. Each card has 4 channels, you can insert the same card, and also insert the different card according to your requirement:

♦ optical port card 

♦ optical port card (GFP)

♦ RS232  data 

♦ optical port card (HDLC)

3). EOP(Ethernet Over SDH) protocol converter is used to transmit transparently Ethernet data, the maximum forwarding rate is up to 31.68Mb/s. adapt the international standard protocol(G.7041,G.7042,G.7043,G.8040), then the production in our company can be connected to other productions following the same standard from other manufactures. It not only provides a complete alarm status indication for E1 and Ethernet interface, but also has advanced administration function such as the statistics to Ethernet data flow. The device has high integration, low power consumption and stable performance.

4). EOP converter transforms Ethernet signal to E1 signal, makes full use of the current E1 resources from operators, it also doesn’t need to change the current network  structure in order to resolve the access demand of large customers

5). This series of products with SDH as the core technology, has function of  a unified access, converging , switching and management for TDM and broadband services, which is integrated accessing fiber transmission platform facing to traditional telecommunication and broadband data service. It caters to the convergence trend between MAN and data service in various private network.

6).EOP(Ethernet Over SDH)is flexi cal device, STM-1/STM-4 SDH,155M/622M, it has 63 or 4*63 channels E1 adopting the method of plug-in card.

7). EOP(Ethernet Over SDH) adopts dual optical ports so as to reach 1+1protection mode.

3 Three features of EOP

1. The convergent-type protocol converter

Integrate switching and traditional protocol conversion together in two layers, and the interface at both transmitting side and receiving side has convergence function.

2. The comprehensive network management

The device is managed in the whole system, no fade zone of network management.

3. Compatibility

The device is completely compatible with signal E1 converter (HDLC) produced in other professional manufactures, and has widely application range. In addition, it can be connected to productions following the same standard produced by other manufactures.
